Management Committee

The GSBA is run by a volunteer Committee of Management (COM) and also has paid staff in key roles.  The COM has several sub committees who oversee the operations of activities such as local competition ,wheelies basketball and representative basketball within the association.

There are 7 clubs who operate teams in our competitions, numerous volunteers and kiosk staff. 

Membership:  To become a member with Voting rights for the Association AGM you must:-

  1.  Pay an administration fee of $12.00  (All current players pay this fee already – this is not a parent of a player)
  2. Complete a registration form which can be found at the below link.  (If you are not a current player submit the form once approved you will be invoiced your administration fee of $12.00)
  3. Non Adult players must complete the form and be accepted by the Committee of management at least  30 days prior to the AGM to have the ability to Vote at the AGM.

  5. NOTE : It is not enough to simply be a player or simply sign up and pay the required fee, acceptance is also required. For Further read the constitution below

  • Diploma in Child Protection Services
  • 10 years administration/bookkeeping experience 
  • 5 years Project management experience in migration, economics, labour shortages and international development. 
  • Volunteer Commitee Member on several sporting and community groups across the region

Senior Domestic Coordinator

  • Bachelor of Business
  • Commenced playing basketball in Shepparton with the Warriors Basketball Club (junior) in 1981. 
  • He represented Shepparton Mooroopna at junior level. 
  • Spending several years away from Shepparton in his adult years he continued to play basketball in domestic competitions in Nunawading (Victoria) and Bankstown (NSW), before returning to the Goulburn Valley in 2006. 
  • Jeremy has now played for 42 consecutive years.
  • Jeremy has coached many teams over the years
  • Jeremy has leadership experience in other organisations; currently chairing the Greater Shepparton Ministers’ Association and the Shepparton Foodshare.
  • Joined the GSBA board 2021
