Management Committee

The GSBA is run by a volunteer Committee of Management (COM) and also has paid staff in key roles.  The COM has several sub committees who oversee the operations of activities such as local competition ,wheelies basketball and representative basketball within the association.

There are 7 clubs who operate teams in our competitions, numerous volunteers and kiosk staff. 

The GSBA Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2024

Will take place at the Shepparton Greyhound Club Rooms 7580 Goulburn Valley Highway Kialla on the Tuesday the 4th February, 2025, at 6:30 PM.

To vote at the AGM, you must be a paid-up financial member aged 18 or older, or a GSBA Life Member.

Players seeking to vote:
On PlayHQ there are multiple registration sections. If you have registered as a Player you are a member of Basketball Victoria.

A player seeking to vote at the AGM must also be a member of the GSBA, this can be done via PlayHQ and NO further fee is required if you have paid your fees for the current GSBA competition.

Log into playhq.com, type in Shepparton Basketball Association, then click ‘Membership’ and complete. Your membership application will be tabled for endorsement at the next Committee of Management meeting.

Please note that members under 18 and parents of members under 18 are not eligible to vote. If a parent wishes to vote, they must be a paid-up member themselves.

To become a financial member, complete the application, and pay the membership fee. New applications must be submitted by November 18, 2024, and will need to be approved by the Committee of Management to be eligible to vote at the AGM or any general meeting. Click here

As Vice President of the Greater Shepparton Basketball Association (GSBA), I am committed to fostering transparency, accountability, and a positive community environment. With experience in governance, strategic planning, and policy development, I bring strong decision-making and leadership skills to support the GSBA’s Committee of Management.

As a father of two young boys who play basketball locally, I am passionate about ensuring the association remains a welcoming, family-friendly space that promotes fairness, inclusivity, and enjoyment for all. My focus is on strengthening the GSBA’s operations while upholding its values of integrity, collaboration, and community spirit.
